Please note, there has never been a communal pool on Mar Menor 1. The pool in the Centre first belonged to Polaris World and is now owned by the banks and being managed by the hotel. They allow anyone to use their pool, as long as they consume something in the Olivo restaurant.
They also own the hotel pool where, depending on their occupancy, they charge €15 per person per day. This option is not available during July and August.
Here you have the rules and access requirements:
• We inform you that this is a private pool.
• The opening hours are from 10am to 6pm.
• The access fee for the pool is a consumption of minimum a soft drink, wine or beer per person per day, adult or child, in the Olive’s Restaurant. To enter you are obligated to show the ticket to the life guard.
• There is no free access to the pool with the communal pool wristbands or any other wristbands.
• Access to the pool does not include sunbeds or umbrellas.
• It’s forbidden to eat in the pool area and to bring food from outside the restaurant.
• The use of glasses or bottles in the pool area is forbidden.
• The sunbeds and umbrellas are not for rent, they are free of use.
• It’s forbidden to reserve sunbeds or umbrellas.
• The pool and restaurant can be closed for a private event.
• The right of admission is reserved.
• Maximum capacity of the pool is 100 people.
